How long does the Naples Underground tour last?

Is the site accessible to wheelchairs?

Unfortunately the underground site is not accessible to wheelchair users due to long staircases and narrow passages carved into the tuff. People with reduced mobility can visit only the upper section.

Yes, the tour is suitable for children from 6 years of age. Children under 4 enter free of charge. Strollers cannot be brought inside the tunnels.

What should I wear for the visit?

The temperature inside the tunnels is constantly around 15°C, even in summer. We recommend bringing a light jacket and wearing comfortable closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles.

Is the narrow passage mandatory?

No. One section of the tour passes through tunnels only 50 cm wide, navigable with a candle in hand. This passage is completely optional and can be skipped if you suffer from claustrophobia or simply prefer not to.
