What to Wear
Inside the tunnels the temperature is constantly around 15°C, even in summer. We recommend bringing a light jacket and wearing comfortable closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles.
Narrow Passages
One section of the tour passes through tunnels only 50 cm wide, which can be navigated only with a candle in hand (provided by the guide). This passage is optional and can be skipped if you suffer from claustrophobia.
Accessibility
Unfortunately the site is not accessible to wheelchair users due to long staircases and narrow passages carved into the tuff. People with reduced mobility can visit only the upper section.
Children
The tour is suitable for children from 6 years of age. Strollers cannot be brought inside. Children under 4 enter free of charge.
Photography
Photography is allowed throughout the tour without flash and without tripods. Professional shoots require prior authorization.
Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the underground site, except for assistance dogs.
Booking
Advance booking is strongly recommended, especially on weekends, public holidays and during summer. Tours often sell out hours before the start time.
